- Extracted pages keep their original order — you cannot reorder them here. Use Merge PDF for that.
- Encrypted PDFs must be unlocked first.
- Files are limited to 50 MB.
- Form fields and annotations on extracted pages are preserved, but document-level bookmarks are not.

Extract PDF Pages questions
How is this different from Split PDF?
Extracting gives you one file containing your selected pages. Splitting gives you several files. Choose extraction when the result should be a single document.
Should I extract or delete pages?
Extract when you want a few pages out of many. Delete when you want to keep most of the document and drop a handful of pages. The outcome is the same, but one is far less clicking.
How do I select pages?
Click any thumbnail to include or exclude it, or type ranges such as 1-3, 8 into the range box. Both methods update each other as you go.
Can I reorder the extracted pages?
No. Pages always come out in their original ascending order. To reorder, extract them first and then use Merge PDF to assemble them the way you want.
Does extracting change my original file?
No. The original PDF on your device is never modified. Extraction produces a separate new file.
Do extracted pages lose any quality?
No. The page content is copied as-is, so an extracted page is identical to the same page in the source document.
Are form fields and comments kept?
Fields and annotations attached to the pages you extract are carried over. Bookmarks that belong to the document as a whole are not.
What if my PDF is password-protected?
It has to be unlocked before its pages can be read. Run it through Unlock PDF, then extract from the unlocked copy.
Why are the thumbnails slow to appear on a big document?
Every thumbnail is a real render of that page, done in your browser. Pages appear progressively, and you can start selecting before the last one finishes.
